Established in 1933 and nestled on the western base of Red Hill, Canberra's Federal Golf Club is recognised as one of Australia's premier inland courses. The 18 hole championship course is complemented by a clubhouse that offers a comprehensive range of hospitality services, catering for weddings, corporate golf, private functions and business seminars.

Federal is more than just a golf club. It is the perfect venue for weddings, business seminars and private functions, with dedicated staff to ensure your function is a memorable occasion, for all the right reasons.

Our recently refurbished clubhouse caters for groups of up to 200, during the day or evening. The function rooms overlook the 18th green, with the surrounding eucalypts lit up in the evening to create a unique atmosphere. The club is located close to the Canberra CBD, well protected from the traffic noise with ample free parking.

The RUSSELL & SCOTT Function Rooms are ideal for weddings, seminars or corporate dinners. The room can be set-up to accommodate the following lay-outs: cabaret style on round tables of 8 (up to 150 people), U-shape style up to 30 people, theatre style up to 200 people (dependant on room availability). Please note small variations on the above configurations may be possible.
